Meet Polly Kennedy
Polly Kennedy is a Western artist and woodcarver known for bringing the stories of ranch life, rodeo culture, and high-country humor into handcrafted art. Raised on a ranch in Star Valley, Wyoming, Polly grew up surrounded by horses, cattle, and the grit and warmth of the Western world, a world that is woven into every piece she creates.

Raised in the West. Inspired by the West.
Polly didn’t just admire Western culture… she lived it. Growing up in a ranching family, she spent her days riding horses, helping with livestock, and absorbing the humor, toughness, and loyalty that define life in the arena and on the range. These memories became the foundation of her artistic voice: carvings filled with personality, familiarity, and the kind of everyday moments Western families instantly recognize

From Hand-Carved Originals to Hand-Cast Art
Every piece begins as an original hand-carved sculpture shaped with traditional woodcarving tools. Once the carving is complete, Polly creates her own molds and hand-casts small batches of resin reproductions in her studio. Each piece, original or reproduction, is individually hand-painted with expressive detail
This process allows collectors to own durable, lightweight artwork with the same character and soul as the original carving, while keeping each design true to its Western roots.

Made for Ranch Families, Rodeo Crowds, and Western Art Lovers
Polly’s work resonates with people who live and breathe the arena dust, ranch families, rodeo competitors, horse lovers, and anyone who feels at home in the Western way of life. Her pieces are known for capturing real moments: the long nights, the busted boots, the old saddles, the stubborn horses, and the small bits of humor every Western family knows.
Collectors across ranch valleys and Western communities throughout the West treasure her pieces for their authenticity, craftsmanship, and storytelling.
A Commitment to the Western Way of Life
Every carving is created with one intention:
to honor the people and animals who live the Western way of life.
Polly believes the heart of Western art lies in storytelling — in keeping alive the memories, humor, and heritage that shape life on the ranch and in the arena. Her work preserves those stories one piece at a time.
